The Imperium of Necron is ruled by the Emperor Aldran Denari. He is married to Kelora and they have 6 children. Their oldest (aged 20) is a son by the name of Nalem and he is referred to as Prince Nalem, Heir Apparent. His brothers and sisters (Princes and Princesses) are as follows in order from eldest to youngest: Essalda (sister, 18), Savril (brother, 15), Achos (brother, 13), Dariq (brother 11), Ardari (sister, 8).
The Necros worship the following gods: Marcus, King of the Gods; MacLeod, God of War; Aretha, Goddess of the Military; Maximus, God of Diplomacy; Drea, Goddess of Strategy; DuGalle, God of Patience; Harold, God of Migration; Juli, Goddess of the Harbingers.

The New Necro society is very similar to old Earth Medieval kingdoms.
History:
First came the Necro Empire, then the Republic of Necron, then the Necro Confederacy, then the Necro Residuum, and now comes the Imperium of Necron. The Necro race has a long and extensive history, most of which has been lost to time. Many modern Necros know of a time when their peoples maintained a vast and powerful nation, unconquerable and supreme in every way. The first debate comes to whether the Necro of old were a righteous people or corrupt. From this sparks numerous theories and even more numerous arguments as to the fall of the mighty nation.
There are talks of machines rising up against the Necros, tearing their nation apart and returning them to the dark ages. Others talk of some genetic alteration of the Necros themselves or perhaps one of their slave races (or were they part of a massive integral alliance?) that was unstoppable and uncaring as they tore through the Necros. One thing that is agreed upon is that time herself had torn the heart out of the Necro nation. Many know that they eked out an attempt at survival but were soon simply overwhelmed. Their once powerful nation gone. Their peoples scattered.
One group of these peoples knew that if they wished to continue to live on, they would need to settle down and unite as many of their kin as possible. Rilvor Denari led his group to a very habitable planet that would become known as New Necron. He established a new government, one with himself as the head. He wrote a new law and established an economy for his people.
After Rilvor’s peaceful death (90 year reign), his eldest son assumed his position. Enken was more aggressive than his father and sought to establish his nation’s first military armed forces. They were little more than armed farmers and miners, but they drove off the wild herds and packs of their planet’s fauna and soon allowed for expansion.
Enken spent much time tending to his father’s dream of creating a new Necron nation that he had not focused on continuing his lineage. As such, when he was killed in training exercise (after 20 year reign), he had no heir. With no other males in the Denari family, ruling of the nation fell to Guen, the eldest daughter.
Guen was more religious than her brother and father and sought to direct the Necron people toward enlightenment. Guen knew of ancient teachings of how the Necron people once followed a single deity. However, over the centuries as the Necron nation went through its demise, people began to call upon even older gods. Guen of course did not know much of these gods but managed to “find” writings on gods that the Necron people had once embellished.
Guen’s reign would last 50 years. When Guen died, she left her growing empire to her eldest son, Cyler. Cyler would be the one that took the Necro people from their island empire into the continents of the rest of the world. Unfortunately, it was during his reign that the aggressive natives of this planet were encountered. They called themselves the Kabos.
For many centuries, numerous wars erupted between the Kabos and the Imperium. Several times, the Imperium itself was invaded and even briefly occupied, but always the Kabos were thrown out. It was during the reign of the first of the House of Denari that peace was finally achieved with the Kabos.
Over the next few centuries, the Necros and Kabos continued to prosper and grow closer. Lost technologies were regained as subsequent rulers began to focus on returning the Necros back to stars.
